The MIECHV Advisory Groups were created to help improve communication among agencies that serve families with young children, reduce knowledge barriers, and move toward a more formalized, systematic process for program referrals for parents seeking assistance. In addition, members work together to address the existing service gaps and needs of families with young children.
There are three Advisory Groups and each includes staff members from community agencies and organizations, as well as individuals that want to work together to help children and families get the support and resources they need to succeed.
Please contact Melinda Lozano, MIECHV Program Coordinator, if you are interested in joining an advisory group.
